TMC Transportation Honors Galarza with Prestigious Award

DES MOINES, Iowa, June 12, 2008 - TMC Transportation, the largest privately-held 
flatbed carrier in the nation, honored TMC company driver Sam Galarza with the Driver of the First Quarter Award for 2008. 
 
Galarza has been a TMC driver for 6 years.  In 2006, he was named TMC's Trainer of the Year. Galarza exemplifies the qualities TMC looks for in a Driver of the Quarter. 
 
"The cornerstone to Sam's success is his ability to set goals, and follow a basic plan day-in and day-out that leads him ultimately to those goals," says his fleet manager Jason Numedahl. Criteria for Driver of the Quarter recognition includes years of service with the company, safe driving record, excellent customer service, professionalism and overall quality performance. Once a driver is recognized as a Driver of the Quarter they are eligible to receive the prestigious Wheel Master Award.
