On the Road To GATS: Two TMC Drivers to Participate in National Contests This Friday in Dallas
This Friday, two TMC drivers will be traveling to the Great American Trucking show in Dallas, TX to be recognized in and learn the results of two nationally recognized driver contests.
Mordaunt “Platt” Brabner and Tilford Sereal are both top ten finalists in the military veteran based Transition Trucking: Driving for Excellence award program, in which the top prize is a brand new, fully loaded Kenworth T680. Brabner and Sereal will find out on Friday if they have advanced to the top three finalists and head to Washington D.C. in December where the winner will be announced.
Brabner is also a top ten finalist in the Trucking’s Top Rookie program, which recognizes outstanding professional truck drivers that have been in the industry for less than a year. The winner of this contest will be announced on Friday as well, and will take home the top prize of $10,000.
