Race Week 2009

In anticipation for the Iowa Speedway NASCAR Nationwide race, TMC Transportation associates at its headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa, celebrated with a week filled with race themed activities.

Each day over the lunch hour, employees competed in several races to win No. 15 Michael Annett gear. Three-legged race, egg and spoon and tire roll champions were named.

On Wednesday night employees were invited to an exclusive meet and greet with Michael Annett. The No. 15 Toyota Camry and Germain Racing hauler were on display and employees had the opportunity to compete in two race simulators sponsored by Hype Energy Drinks.

At TMC, working hard and playing hard go hand in hand. This was evident on Friday when the operations vice presidents and managers participated in TMC's first wiggle car races. Customer Service Manager Aaron Cavazos was named Champion Racer.

The next day more than 600 TMC associates and drivers were treated to a fun filled day of racing at the Iowa Speedway. TMC provided discounted tickets for employees and their families and hosted a tailgate. Everyone cheered the hometown driver No. 15 Michael Annett to an eleventh place finish.
