FAF Scholarship Winners

The TMC Family Assistance Fund (FAF) recently awarded scholarships totaling $12,000 to six college-bound students. The yearly scholarship program is open the children of TMC employees who are pursuing degrees in higher education. Applications were judged by the FAF Committee based on grade-point average, extracurricular involvement and quality of essay.

TMC is proud to award these students with scholarships for the 2010/2011 school year. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Company Driver/Owner-Operator Recipients

• First place recipient of $3,000: Alyssa Kemp, daughter of TMC Driver Dennis Kemp
• Second place recipient of $2,000: Megan Knight, daughter of TMC Driver Randall Knight
• Third place recipient of $1,000: Dayna Arment, daughter of TMC Driver James Arment

Office/Shop Recipients

• First place recipient of $3,000: Patrick Brugger, son of Laurie Brugger
• Second place recipient of $2,000: Mackenzie Gray, daughter of Tim Gray
• Third place recipient of $1,000: Emma Vogel, daughter of Joe Vogel

The Family Assistance Fund was established in 1994 to provide assistance to employees who were experiencing financial hardships. The fund is made up of employee contributions and today includes a variety of programs to assist employees and their families.
