TMC Wants Experienced Truck Drivers

Are you looking for a company who can take your driving career to the next level? At TMC your experience will help you excel with our performance pay program, which pays more than traditional per-mile programs. You will also find yourself driving one of TMC's late model Peterbilt tractors. Have tractor-trailer experience but no flatbed experience? No problem. TMC offers a paid training program that will teach you how to be an expert in load securement, tarping and open freight driving techniques.

Basic Qualifications

TMC strives to hire the best of the best. We are always looking for professional drivers who meet the following requirements:

23 years of age
Valid Class A CDL
No more than three moving violations
Solid work history
No DUI's or reckless driving
No felony convictions
Able to perform essential functions of the job with no restrictions

Orientation and Training

We offer a comprehensive paid training and orientation program at our Des Moines, Iowa terminal location. The length of time you spend training will vary depending upon years and type of experience.

During orientation, you'll get an introduction to the company, our pay structure, defensive driving, satellite communications, training and safety trip planning. If you are new to flatbed, you will learn proper load securement and tarping techniques and you will practice on flatbed trailers. New flatbed drivers will spend time with a veteran driver trained to help you learn the company's freight lanes, defensive driving and load securement.

Lodging is provided at our hotel during training and lunch is provided. After you complete training, you'll be assigned your own truck. To learn more about our orientation program click here.
