    Driver trainers are vital to the TMC training department, and each month a trainer is chosen who demonstrates the outstanding qualities TMC looks for in a trainer. The Trainer of the Month recipient is chosen based on their safety record and the safety performance of their trainees, the number of drivers trained and the retention percentage of those drivers.   • Meet TMC's Driver of the 3rd Quarter, Randy Buhs!

    With 18 years and nearly two million safe driving miles, both consecutively with TMC, Randy Buhs is the epitome of a TMC Driver of the Quarter. The Peoria, IL native and Army veteran came to TMC at the turn of the century and immediately made a name for himself.

  • Meet Your September 2018 Trainer of the Month: Richard Michael!

    Since getting in a truck with his own trainer in January 2011, Richard has always enjoyed learning new things on the job. When he became a Driver Trainer himself in August 2014, he learned to love the job even more. He says looking back on his own experiences has helped him stay consistent in his teaching methods.

  • Meet TMC's Trainer of the Month for April 2018: Ken Moyer!

    Ken does his best to teach core values in this training. "I tell my trainees that it's all about safety, and I try to make the whole experience as comfortable as possible," he says. Ken also encourages his guys to help out others whenever they can. "Be the courteous person that goes the extra mile to lend a hand, even if it's to someone from another company."
