From Driver to Vice President

on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Company News

It is with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Jeff Wisgerhof to the position of Vice President of Driver Training.

Jeff has provided exemplary leadership as TMC’s Driver Training Manager for the past 13 years. He has played an important role in enhancing TMC’s training department and establishing it as one of the most recognized programs in the industry.  Jeff’s knowledge and leadership has helped TMC develop a training program that produces some of the safest and most productive drivers in the industry.

Jeff began his career with TMC more than 24 years ago as a driver.  Jeff excelled as a driver, earning the Wheel Master award.   In 1994 he came off the road and into the office as a Team Leader, and later transitioned into a Fleet Manager.   In 1996 he decided to go back on the road as a company driver.

However, in 1999 Jeff accepted a position in the training department as a load securement instructor and later moved to orientation instructor.   Looking back it seemed Jeff had found his passion in driver training.   His dedication and work ethic earned him the opportunity to be the driver training manager, and now the Vice President of our continuously developing and growing driver training center.

“It’s been a pleasure watching Jeff grow within one of the most vital and critical areas in our company,” comments Glen McCravy, Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Risk Management.  “Thank you Jeff for your dedication and hard work.”

Congratulations to Jeff Wisgerhof!
