The Making of the Christmas Truck

on Friday, December 20, 2013 in Company News

For this year’s holiday card, we at TMC decided to do something a little different. We are very proud of our new Peterbilt 579s and decided to use it to spread some holiday cheer. With the help of several employees, we decorated the 579 with lights and a wreath and planned a video shoot around our hometown city of Des Moines.

Martin Milner was our lighting engineer on the project, with decorating help by Mike Duffy, Tony Beres, and James Pfaff. TMC Specialized driver Dan Myer was the driver for the shoot. As the truck drove up and down the streets of downtown Des Moines, it drew a lot of positive attention from the motoring public. This was very much an in-house project utilizing the talents of many employees. Videography and editing was all done by TMC's curriculum development manager, Mike Eddy. Dave Umphfleet, training coordinator, lent this photography skills to the project.
