Meet Top Rookie Finalists Dan A'Zaire Snow and Kevin Smith

Last week’s blog introduced TMC driver and Trucking’s Top Rookie, Kyle Lee. This week we’d like you to meet our other Top Ten Finalists in Trucking’s Top Rookie contest, Dan A’Zaire Snow and Kevin Smith. Hear from them about their experiences at TMC and transition into a new career in transportation.

Dan A’Zaire Snow is a former carpenter who graduated from Diesel Driving Academy in Little Rock, AR. He and his wife, Samantha, now live in Arlington, TX. In addition to his great customer service and skills as a driver, what stands out most about Snow is his positive attitude and willingness to help others. According to his fleet manager Andrew Thompson, “Dan is very easy going and will go out of his way to help another driver or TMC out when it comes to getting a load delivered. Nothing but great things coming out of his mouth and he always wants to help out as much as he can.”


Kevin Smith and his wife, Debbie, are from Niles, MI. Smith is a former welder and a graduate of CDI in South Bend, IN. “When it comes to rookie drivers Kevin is as clean as they come. He has driven 72,000 safe miles to date and recently passed a DOT inspection. He has never been late for a delivery and gives 100%,” says Smith’s fleet manager, Tom Rubbo.



Congratulations to both drivers on their outstanding achievement! For placing in the Top Ten, they each received $1,000 in cash and several prizes including 50,000 Pilot Flying J Rewards points and a Cobra CB.
