Linwood Shaw Announced as Driver of The 3rd Quarter!

TMC is proud to recognize Linwood Shaw as Driver of The Third Quarter for 2022.
Shaw has been a driver at TMC for 27 years and has accumulated over 2.8 million safe miles. These are impressive numbers and TMC is lucky to have Shaw in its fleet. 
“I enjoy flatbed, while some make it out to be a hard job, I don’t think you can get better than this. I like being outside and the weather doesn’t bother me, I can get loaded and unloaded quicker than dry van” says Shaw. 
Shaw’s long and successful career at TMC included a stint where he was an Owner Operator of his truck. “TMC was very accommodating, and it is something I plan to work towards in the future as well.” 
When asked what advice Shaw has for drivers just starting in the industry, he said, “The biggest thing is experience. You learn from your mistakes, and you get better. Everyone always talks about ‘take your time’ and that’s just it. Take the extra minute or two and do things the right way and it will have its benefits.” 
While Shaw does not read too much into awards, he understands how many deserving drivers there are at TMC for awards like Driver of The Quarter. Shaw appreciates the recognition of the success he has had at TMC over the last three decades. 
The recipient of this award is selected based on the following criteria: safe driving record, years of service, and excellence in customer service. The Driver of the Quarter is then eligible to be a future Wheel Master. The Wheel Master award is the highest honor given to drivers at TMC and was created to recognize the best of the best among a fleet of impressive drivers.
