Meet Dion Blair - Top 10 Finalist in Trucking's Top Rookie Contest!

We are pleased to announce that TMC’s own Dion Blair has been selected as a Top 10 Finalist for Trucking’s Top Rookie! The winner will be announced later this month at the Great American Truck Show in Dallas, TX. Read more about the contest and prizes here.

Dion joined our team in August 2013 right out of All State Career School in Lester, PA. Prior to entering the trucking industry, Dion served the country in the U.S. Navy for over 25 years.

“When I heard the news that I made the Top 10, I was very excited and very surprised. I knew there were a lot of outstanding drivers out there. I was pleased and felt all kinds of emotions knowing I was even able to make the Top 10,” said Dion.

Dion resides in Philadelphia with his wife of twenty-two years, and they have three children. The trip to the Great American Truck Show in Dallas will be a long way from home for him, and he is most excited for the opportunity to meet other drivers there and receive pointers on how he can improve his skills. His work ethic, commitment to excellence, and outstanding performance at TMC make him an excellent candidate for the title of Trucking’s Top Rookie.

“If I were to win, it would be total excitement and disbelief. It would be something to be proud of and my family to be proud of. It would be a great honor to win, but just being in the Top 10 is an honor,” says Dion.
