Dannen Hangs Up Keys After 27 Years

on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in Awards & Recognition

Veteran driver, Roger Dannen, will be hanging up the keys this week after nearly three decades with TMC. Roger is a true example of the Black and Chrome, elite flatbed truck driver that TMC Transportation has a reputation for. He holds the prestigious title of TMC's Wheel Master, has over three million safe driving miles over the road, and was even the very first driver in our flatbed fleet to receive the keys to the new Peterbilt 579.

Roger started his career on TMC’s linehaul division before spending some time on the Specialized Division’s John Deere account. When TMC started hauling boats in 2009, Roger joined this team that he would later on retire with.

“Over Roger’s lengthy career as a flatbed truck driver, he has racked up some amazing accomplishments and is very deserving,” says Clynt Coburn, Roger’s Operations Manager. “TMC will miss Roger, or ‘Tweety Bird’ as he’s referred to, out on the road, but we are thankful that he will be continuing his Black & Chrome legacy while working part time at the Ankeny training yard. “

Looking to retirement, Roger plans on spending time with his family and going fishing with his fellow TMC alumni buddies. Congratulations Roger! Thanks again for your hard work and dedication to TMC Transportation. We wish you the best as you start your retirement.
