Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Signing Ceremony

TMC recently had the opportunity to proclaim support for military veterans and attend an ESGR signing ceremony in Washington, D.C. The ceremony was initiated by FASTPORT, an organization that promotes the hiring of our nation’s heroes. The ESGR is a Department of Defense program that promotes cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers, as well as assisting in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment.

The signing took place on December 14 at the Pentagon after our own Platt Brabner was recognized as a top four finalist in the Transition Trucking: Driving For Excellence award program at the United States Chamber of Commerce. 

FASTPORT partners with employers that lead their industry and are willing to devote resources to take an active role in military recruiting to help change the way service members, veterans, and spouses transition into civilian employment.
