Brownsburg Welcomes TMC Transportation's New Driver Terminal

TMC Transportation held a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday at the site of their new facility. The new truck driver terminal is located in the town of Brownsburg, IN - just outside of Indianapolis. The facility will sit on just over 34 acres of land and will replace TMC’s current driver terminal location within the Indianapolis city limits.

The office will be 17,500 sq./ft. and will house Driver Training, Safety, Permits, Logistics, and Operations. Human Resources and IT will also function at this new location. A good portion of the facility is set up to give TMC's hardworking drivers a fun and relaxing place to hang out when their equipment is in for service. The driver's area will have showers along with laundry, arcade, pool table, large LED big screen TV’s, a quiet room, and fitness center.

The equipment services portion of the facility will consist of a 56,000 sq./ft. shop and will have three fueling lanes and a state of the art truck wash facility. TMC is combining all maintenance functions the flatbed transportation company performs to keep the equipment up and running in top condition in one location. We will have bays dedicated to preventative maintenance. These bays will work on both tractors and trailers, along with express bays for quicker repairs. The shop will have bays for our appearance technicians to put the extra shine on our signature black and chrome trucks and trailers. Load securement and tire bays will be located in the shop as well. Drivers will have close access to all their needs under one roof.

Heading up the project is Jason Webb, TMC’s Executive Vice President of Asset Management. “We are very excited to become a long lasting partner with the state of Indiana and the town of Brownsburg. We strive to be a good neighbor and a business partner that Brownsburg can be proud to have in their community,” he says.

We are very excited to be building a first-class transportation facility that will give our drivers a comfortable place to relax during service appointments.
