TMC Named 2022 Flatbed Carrier of the Year by Southwire

TMC was recently recognized as Southwire’s 2022 Flatbed Carrier of the Year.

In a ceremony held in September 2023, TMC received the award for our exemplary partnership and outstanding service as a flatbed carrier to Southwire, one of the largest manufacturers of copper wire product used for transmission and distribution of electricity throughout the nation.

Southwire and TMC have been working together since 2020, and Senior Vice President of National Accounts Brett Wilburn says the relationship has grown over that time. “We have built a fantastic partnership over the last four years,” Brett says. “They are a great customer to work with.”

This award is a testament to the teamwork and dedication shown by everyone at TMC who works on the Southwire account, Brett notes. “Thank you to everyone at TMC whose hard work helped make this award a reality—fleet managers, customer service representatives, and especially our drivers, who provide great service every day,” he says.
